The Camp Experience

Marsh Creek Summer Camp is a fun, active outdoor program where kids ages 6 to 13 spend their days on the water building confidence, learning new skills, and making lifelong memories.

Every day, campers rotate through an exciting mix of sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding on beautiful Marsh Creek Lake. Guided by daily wind conditions, our activities are designed to challenge untapped talent, encourage team building, and ensure your child walks away with a deep love for the water.

All water activities are led by US Sailing-certified instructors who bring patience, energy, and expertise to every session. Comprehensive water safety instruction is integrated throughout the week.

Whether your child is a first-time paddler or a returning sailor, we've got them covered. Campers are grouped by age so instruction matches their experience level.

Need extra time? Extend the day until 3:00 PM by adding the "After Camp" extra when you enroll.

A Typical Day at Camp

8:30 AM

Arrive, check in, life jacket fitting, and morning meeting.

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Daily schedules are tailored by age group, but every camper's day includes 3 to 3.5 hours on the water. This time is split into 3 or 4 activity sessions of 45-60 minutes, separated by hydration breaks and a 30-45 minute lunch.

1:00 PM

Camp ends, or After Camp extension begins.

1:00 - 3:00 PM

After Camp extends the fun with two 60-minute activity sessions. We prioritize sailing during these hours (wind permitting), giving campers an opportunity to build confidence and practice sailing on their own.

Policies & FAQ

What happens in bad weather?

Camp runs rain or shine, but in the event of storms, campers are moved safely indoors. If a storm persists, we will contact you for an early pickup. If we must cancel camp for the day, families will be notified by 8:00 AM. Make-up days are held on Mondays and Fridays.

What is the refund policy?

Full refunds are available for cancellations made by the Friday before your camp session begins. After Friday, cancellations are eligible for a partial refund of up to $100 for Base Camp, or $140 for Base Camp + After Camp.

What happens on the first day?

Please arrive at 8:30 AM for check-in. Our team will place your camper with their group and fit them for a life jacket so they can hit the water and start the fun as soon as everyone arrives!

How does lunch work?

Campers can bring a packed lunch (clearly labeled with their name), which can be stored in our on-site refrigeration. Alternatively, they can buy lunch at our Snack Bar, which accepts cash, credit, and debit cards.
